Gail became a member of Just Write Bristol – originally Bristol Women Writers, when she came to live in the city in her early 20’s. Since then she has been instrumental in its journey from critique group, through performance and mentoring, to the publication of an anthology and establishment of our exciting Malago Press publishing imprint.

You can usually find her wrestling with ideas for longform fiction but she also writes short stories and the occasional poem. Her stories have been published in Unchained (Tangent Books) and Quite Weird (Malago Press).

Gail, now living in Jersey and making regular trips to Bristol, has recently completed a sequel to her novel One of the Few about a veteran injured in Northern Ireland. Both books are currently on submission.
