A Celebration of the Book – join us at Clevedon
Just Write Bristol will be at Clevedon Literary Festival, a Celebration of the Book, running two fabulous events.

3.40 pm – 4.30 pm What makes a great crime novel?
In this session, Psychologist Heather Reed and Journalist Jason Mann will examine the key elements of the craft of crime writing and talk about the approach they take with their own novels. It will be a light-hearted interactive session with the audience having the opportunity to ask questions and to take part in a fun ‘first line’ competition with signed copies of Heather and Jason’s novels as prizes.
8.15 pm – 9.30 pm Quite Weird! songs, stories, open mic
Join Just Write Bristol for quirky after-dark readings from their newly published short story anthology with a song or two from local musician Dawn Kelly. Register on the day for 5 minute open mic slots to share your own quite weird offerings.
